Is your training certified by the government?

No private HIPAA course provider is formally certified by the federal government. USA HIPAA training is built around current HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rule requirements and is accepted by organizations nationwide for workforce training.

Is this training valid in all states?

Yes. HIPAA is a federal standard, so this training is relevant in all U.S. states. Some states also have stricter privacy laws, and organizations should pair HIPAA training with state-specific policy training when needed.

What if I don't pass the final exam? Do I have to pay for the training again?

You can retake the final exam as many times as needed to pass and you can also retake it to improve your score. There is no extra fee for retakes after purchase.

Which HIPAA course should I start with?

Most individual buyers should start with HIPAA Essentials. Choose the Vendors & Business Associates course when your work is vendor-side or outsourced support, and add the Telehealth & Remote Work Add-On when remote workflows or virtual care are central to the job.

How long do I have to take the training?

Most learners finish in a single session, but access remains available after purchase so you can complete modules at your own pace and return for review before taking the exam.

What is the cost of training for an individual?

Individual pricing is shown on each course page and checkout. You pay once per course and receive exam access plus certificate generation after successful completion.

What course do I need to take?

Start with HIPAA Essentials if you need broad workforce HIPAA training. Choose HIPAA for Vendors & Business Associates if your role is billing, IT, consulting, MSP, or outsourced support on the vendor side. Add the Telehealth & Remote Work Add-On when virtual visits, home-office safeguards, or distributed workflows are a major part of the role.

Do you offer training that an organization can use to train its employees?

Yes. Use the Company checkout path to buy seats, invite team members, and manage progress from the organization admin dashboard.

Can I train multiple people using an individual account?

No. Individual checkout is for one learner. For team training, purchase seats using the Company path so each learner has their own account, progress record, and certificate.

What if I want to put a different name on the certificate from the information I enter on the registration screen for my billing information?

Your certificate uses your learner profile name. You can update your profile name before completing the course so your certificate is issued with the correct learner name.

Do you offer training that an organization can use to train its employees?

Yes. Organization training includes seat-based enrollment, learner invites, completion tracking, and certificate verification for each assigned learner.

Who is the organizational training for?

Organizational training is designed for healthcare providers, clinics, practices, billing teams, business associates, and any team that needs HIPAA workforce training at scale.

What is the minimum number of seats I need to create a organizational training account?

You can start with 1 seat. Volume discounts begin at 2 seats, or when the same organization purchases a second course.

Can I add seats later on?

Yes. You can buy additional seats at any time and invite new learners from the organization admin dashboard.

If I purchase seats after my initial purchase do I still get a volume discount?

Discounts are applied per purchase based on seat quantity and your organization's prior course purchases. If your new purchase meets a discount tier, that tier is applied automatically.

Do you offer reporting with the organizational training account so I can tell who has taken the training?

Yes. Organization admins can see seat assignment status, invite status, and learner completion activity from the admin dashboard.

If I am an organization, can I just purchase the training only?

Yes. You can purchase seats without immediately inviting learners, then assign and invite learners later when your team is ready.
